Help is always needed! Our signature event is Fairy Festival and it is always the 4th weekend in April. There are many ways to help before, during and after the Fairy Festival. Click here to sign up as a volunteer.
Other events include: Holiday Open House, Art Shows, Dance Recital Weekend, and community events like Kid’s Fest.
No special skills are required – just a love of working with and around children. We’ll do an orientation/training. We conduct back ground checks on all volunteers.
When it gets closer to the May recital you can hone your ironing skills and help us get the costumes ready. Or put your organizational skills to work and help us sort and label costumes. Or pass out programs and/or work at the ticket table.
Help us keep our space inspiring and fun with simple tasks like touch-up painting, hanging pictures or creating a display. Clean the lobby and/or organize and sort art supplies.
What is your talent? Enjoy taking pictures? Volunteer to come in once a week and take pictures as classes are going on. Love doing crafts? Help us make cards, banners, or things to carry in parades. Are you a decision maker? Be a part of our Board of Directors. Whatever it is you enjoy, we can help you find a way to help the Jackson School of the Arts and the children we serve.
