Whether you need full summer care Monday through Friday, a few flexible weeks of enriching artistic experiences, or Post-Camp Care to make your JSA camp schedule work, we have options designed to support your family. Our state-licensed childcare program serves children ages 3–8 and provides safe, structured care with creative experiences all summer long.
Jackson School of the Arts offers all-day summer childcare for children ages 3–8 during the months of June, July, and August.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm

Families enrolling in 4 or more weeks receive 10% off each week.

JSA is a state-licensed childcare facility, providing a safe, structured, and professionally supervised environment.
Our summer program follows Experience Early Learning’s Creative Curriculum, a research-based framework supporting:
• Social and emotional development
• Independence and responsibility
• Creative expression
• Collaborative learning
• Age-appropriate academic enrichment
Each week includes structured activities, arts-based projects, movement, outdoor play, and hands-on learning experiences.
Daily Schedule
Childcare is open Monday–Friday from 7:30am–5:30pm. Our structured learning day runs from 9:30am–3:30pm. We recommend drop-off by 9:30am to avoid interrupting core learning time.
Post-Camp Care allows for early drop-off prior to half-day camps taking place at JSA. Our team ensures safe arrival to camp and return to the childcare classroom afterward.
Jackson School of the Arts is located at 135 W. Cortland St. in Downtown, Jackson, Michigan. We are in a newly-renovated building with many modern amenities and security features.
