Why a Fairy Festival?

This event and everything we do at Jackson School of the Arts is about encouraging children to think creatively and become their best selves through the arts. The Fairy Festival, now in its 14th year, is a beloved free community event that has traditionally attended by over 3,000 people from our community and with visitors from all over Michigan and Ohio. This year will be more of a by-reservation-only event, but just as magical.

Fairy Festical is Jackson School of the Arts signature fundraiser that supports our mission to provide children with the best opportunities to learn and grow with the arts. We serve all children in our community because fees for participation are based on family income. This is the place where community comes together. Diversity and inclusion…it’s what we do.
